Almond Engineering, P.A. is pleased to announce that Ron Fournier, Jr., P.E., has joined the firm as a Senior Civil Engineer. Ron comes to Almond Engineering with more than 10 years of experience, is currently registered in six states; including Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina and has the background and experience of delivering projects in more than 40 jurisdictions and three continents. Ron brings with him significant expertise in commercial and industrial site engineering production, land development, stormwater analysis, and roadway and utility design for private, municipal, and federal clients. Ron has worked for a global design-build firm and an ENR Top Five engineering consulting firm. His most recent projects include Perimeter West Industrial Park Spec Building and Lot J Master Infrastructure preliminary design.
Ron grew up in South Florida as well as Jacksonville. He went to University of Miami and obtained his undergraduate Civil Engineering degree and later went to University of North Florida where he received his MBA. He married Sarah in 2015, after meeting her at the University of Miami and made Jacksonville home. Ron and his wife Sarah enjoy spending time with their two boys, Cole and Luke. They also have a fur baby Jettie, a rescue, black lab mix. When not solving complex engineering challenges he also enjoys spending time on and under the water.
Ron is currently on the Nease High School Academy of Engineering as a Board Member for over seven years and the SAME’s Board of Young Professionals. He was in the top 5% of candidates for companies to be selected and accepted into the Accelerated Management Training and Fearless Entrepreneurs Programs.
