Hillary Almond, Chief Executive Officer, has extensive experience in water, sewer, and septic utility design and permitting. Her experience stems from many years working for both an international firm as well as a design engineer for the JEA in Jacksonville, FL. While at JEA, Mrs. Almond also served as the Manager of Operations and Maintenance for the Arlington East District managing three regional wastewater reclamation facilities and over 300 sewage lift stations as well as all personnel in the district. Mrs. Almond is extensively familiar with design issues that have presented with maintenance difficulties and can provide clear, cost-effective and maintenance friendly designs. Hillary Almond is also an expert in handling the City of Jacksonville – Environmental Quality Division’s Cease & Desist orders concerning sewage overflows in Duval County.
Eric Almond, President, has extensive experience with both large and small land development and drainage designs in various capacities, including engineering design, regulatory permitting, expert witness services and construction management. His experience primarily consists of large-scale residential, commercial and industrial projects upon which drainage master planning, site, and roadway design, regulatory permitting and construction phase services were the primary focus of each project. With this extensive knowledge of the design process, regulatory system, and challenges faced during construction, Mr. Almond and Almond Engineering are uniquely positioned to offer the highest level of service to its clients in all aspects of design, permitting and construction administration.
