JEA Watermain and Forcemain Utility Project – Ponte Vedra
Almond Engineering completed this project for JEA which included the design of a 10” sewer force main by pipe bursting method as well a new 12” watermain by open cut method to replace an older 6” watermain servicing an upscale neighborhood in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Due to the high-profile location, working with the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and residents was essential for success. Construction began in August 2016. All scheduled milestones were met on time and not only to JEA’s satisfaction but also to the satisfaction of the residents impacted by construction. Permits included JEA, SJC, FDEP
